Prospective Students (M.Sc. and Ph.D.)

Our research group is always seeking motivated M.Sc. and Ph.D. candidates who are passionate about exploring biogeographic, ecological and evolutionary questions, especially in the context of urbanization, species introductions, and insularity. Prospective graduate students should first review the lab’s research areas and publications to ensure their interests align with ours. To apply, please send your CV and a brief statement outlining your research background and specific interests to Yuval. Should there be openings in the lab, and if your profile matches the required qualifications, Yuval will arrange a discussion to explore your potential involvement in the group. We value students who demonstrate independence, initiative, enthusiasm, and a strong commitment to advancing knowledge in our fields of interest.

Postdoctoral Scholars

Our lab is keen to collaborate with postdoctoral researchers who bring new ideas and expertise in ecology, evolutionary biology, and conservation. If you believe your research interests, skills, and experience could complement our ongoing work, we invite you to contact Yuval to explore collaboration and funding opportunities. We can provide support in developing proposals for external fellowships, and welcome innovative research proposals that fit within our lab’s broad scope. Yuval is always open to discussing potential research directions and collaborative projects.

For all candidates, a background in programming and AI, urban studies, or social sciences, is particularly welcomed.
